SUMMARY The main objective of this study has been to understand the internal structure of Lavandula latifolia Medicus, Salvia lavandulifolia Vahl., Thymus vulgaris L. and Rosmarinus officinalis L.. These plants are very popular species in the Castilla-La Mancha region. The following conventional laboratory techniques were used to process the plant material: washing and chopping; fixing of material; inclusion in paraffin; slicing with a microtome; tinting of tissues; mounting; observation and study with an optic microscope and finally photographing. Tissue organization of these species is characteristic of dicotyledonic angiosperms with some adaptations to dry climate since these xerophytic and aromatic plant species. Key words: Labiateae: Lavandula latifolia, Salvia lavandulifotia, Thymus vulgaris and Rosmarinus officinalis, anatomy, histology.
